A delicate Zsolnay Pecs Hungarian porcelain tulip candlestick with an "eosin" green-gold glaze designed in the early 20th century Art Nouveau / Jugendstil style. The candlestick is illustrated in Federico Santi and John Gacher's Zsolnay Ceramics Collecting a Culture, pg. 185.

The dark red tulip has three petals that form a candle cup. The reticulated stem and rounded foot are enveloped in the company's signature eosin metallic luster glaze. Excellent condition free from chips, cracks, or repairs, standing 7.75 in. H. Marked on the underside with the Zsolnay Pecs factory mark used since 1996 with form number 10202.

The Zsolnay factory was established in Pecs, Hungary in 1853.
