Customer Reviews
A signed American art pottery vase designed by French ceramicist Jacques Sicard (1865–1923) for Weller Pottery of Zanesville, Ohio, between 1901 and 1907. The antique earthenware vase is a double gourd form decorated by hand with iridescent dots and Fleur de Lys motifs on a copper/maroon metallic luster ground.
The vase is inscribed "SICARD" along the bottom edge with an impressed "12" and "VI" on the base. Very good condition with typical crazing, measuring 5 in. H.
