A vintage Scandinavian glass vase by Finnish designer and sculptor, Tapio Wirkkala (1915-1985), produced in 1978-1979 by Iittala of Finland. The body of iittala's Eeva vase is a transparent moss green color with a smooth surface atop a substantial textured base of clear glass that was blown into a mold to produce an icy/water effect. The vase is in good condition with a few tiny scuffs, measuring 7 in. height x 3.5 in. diameter (at rim.) and 4 in. diameter (at base). The vase retains its original label bearing iittala's red "I" logo over MADE IN FINLAND.
