A vintage European art pottery vase in an octagonal Art Deco shape enveloped in a deep pink/red glaze with dark blue hand painted accents. At a distance, the colors combine to create the appearance of a glossy oxblood-colored glaze. The earthenware vessel comes with a label written in French which reads in part: 1 Vase Faience de / Forme Octogonole / Couleur Fraise."

The vintage vase measures 8.25 inches height and is in fairly good condition with minor scattered scuffs, overall crazing, and grinding chips on the foot (pictured). Unknown maker but acquired from a collection of Continental European art pottery. Impressed marks on the base including what appears to be a kiln under an arch, the numbers 3 and 298, and a handwritten word that looks like "Ceritu/Ceritie".
