A vintage studio glass bowl by master glass maker and artist, Robert Held (1943 - ) dating circa 1985. Held describes this footed art glass vessel as one of his early "Skookum" bowls, crafted in his Calgary studio which operated from 1978 through 1987. 

The bowl is decorated in a rosy pink and lilac frit pattern with vivd splashes of dark blue color creating a stained glass effect; the piece is finished with a lively golden iridescence overall. 

Excellent condition with a partially polished pontil, measuring 4.75 in. H x 7.5 in. Diameter (at widest). Inscribed "Skookum" by hand underfoot.
