A French Art Deco bonbonnière box designed by Jean-Emile Puiforcat (1897-1945) in silver-plate with a spherical veined dark green finial, dating circa 1930s. The elegant covered box is an ideal accessory for a vanity, dresser, nightstand, or desk. The silver box is in very good condition with a few light scratches, measuring 5 in diameter x 3 in height. Stamped Puiforcat France on the base over the company's pocket knife mark flanked by EP (for Émile Puiforcat, co-founder of the company) inside a square signifying plated silver.
