An Art Deco low bowl wrought in 830 silver by Ottar Sverre Hval of Oslo, Norway, dating circa 1930s. The circular dish has a folded, sloping edge and a central roundel of icy blue enamel over a leaping horse surrounded by flowers and foliage.

Very good condition with minor surface marks/scratches, measuring: 6.13 inches diameter x 1.13 inches height, marked 830 S alongside Ottar Hval's maker's mark on the base.
