A large and sculptural Art Deco vase, made by Faiencerie Thulin of Belgium, circa 1930s. The vintage art pottery vessel was designed with a striking and angular Art Deco profile accented with pierced double handles and a glossy teal blue outer glaze under a drip glaze of contrasting light golden and darker browns.

The vase displays well from any angle and is in good condition with a few tiny glaze pops, age-appropriate crazing, a shallow scratch on the lower part of the body visible when the vase is upside down, and two grinding chips underfoot, measuring 7.75 in. H x 11 in. diameter (at widest) and impressed: Made in/ Belgium / Faiencerie / Thulin over form number 190 underfoot.

The Thulin Pottery was founded in 1887, becoming la Société Anonyme des Faïenceries de Thulin in 1923. Their products were sold throughout Belgium and in Paris before the company dissolved in 1973.
