A Loetz-style Art Nouveau glass vase with a gilt metal mount dating circa 1900. The design from Kralik Glassworks (Wilhelm Kralik Söhn) features a flaring tulip shaped top over a slender neck of pale, sage green glass with metallic shades of gold, pink, purple, and blue iridescence overall. The art glass is textured with undulating lines creating Kralik's Pampas decor. The gilt metalwork with foliate details and accents fastens to the neck with two twisted wires.

The glass is in very good condition, as is the mount which exhibits a few spots of age-related verdigris. The vase measures 10.75 in. height x 6.25 in. at widest point. Although this vase is unmarked, the pattern, color, and metal mounts indicate this piece was produced by Kralik Glassworks in the style of Loetz Crete Pampas glass.

When colorful European glassware reached the peak of its popularity for export during the last quarter of the 19th century, a number of competing German and Austro-Hungarian (Bohemian and Czech) glassmakers produced works with many similarities in shape, color, and decor. In addition to Loetz and Kralik, other well-known glassmakers active at this time include Pallme König, Rindskopf, Josef Riedel, Moser, Harrach, and Poschinger.
