An early 20th century Arts & Crafts vase from Fulper Pottery of Flemington, New Jersey, dating circa 1910s. This American art pottery vessel is Fulper's 452 form with scrolled handles, decorated with a gorgeous matte Leopardskin glaze in shades of pale green, dark olive green, and dark brown with small crystalline accents. Fulper catalogues from the period referred to this sophisticated and unusual glaze as "Leopard Skin Crystal." The vessel is marked underfoot with an early "FULPER" rectangular ink stamp used circa 1909-1917. Good condition with a few small scuffs and several glaze pops from the firing process, measuring 4.75 in. height x 6 in. diameter (at widest).
