An Art Deco coupe of gilded and patinated metal, ebony wood, and celluloid, acquired in France and dating circa 1930. The upper surface of the flaring bowl has a warm golden metallic finish with a verdigris treatment on the underside. The green and gold color scheme repeats on the stepped foot. The stem joins the top and base with a bold, geometric inlay pattern of contrasting black wood and off-white celluloid. This handsome and sculptural design would make an ideal luxury accent for a table, mantelpiece, or desk.

Good condition with rubbing at the edges, shallow scuffs/surface scratches, and a few verdigris flakes missing from the underside, measuring 3.25 in. heights x 5.88 in. diameter (at upper rim.) Unmarked.
