A boxed set of six sterling silver coffee spoons made by Cooper Brothers and Sons of Sheffield, England in 1925. The vintage silver spoons include their original fitted box from Lindsay & Paisley LTD of Glasgow. Each solid silver handle terminates in an Art Deco detail resembling an architectural capital and the bowls bear a full set of hallmarks on the reverse: the maker's mark of Cooper Brothers and Sons (CB over &S in a shield), the English lion passant certifying silver quality (sterling), the Sheffield crown city mark, and a date mark for 1925. 

The spoons are in very good condition showing very little wear and just a hint of tarnish. Each measures 4 in. L and weighs 11.20 grams / 7.20 dwt. The combined weight of the spoons is 66.3 grams / 42.63 dwt. The hinged box is lined in silk and velvet and snaps closed securely, measuring 7 in. L x 5.75 in. W x 1 in. H. The outer surfaces are scuffed with small losses and wear/ rubbing at all edges.
