An early 20th century Continental European art pottery vase with a colorful flambé glaze and gilt metal mounts at the rim and foot. The body of the vase is a glossy deep royal blue with green, turquoise blue, and maroon red accents trailing from the rim down the slender neck. The interior of the vase is decorated with a contrasting, bright and glossy glaze of robin's egg blue. The ormolu collar and stepped foot feature Classical motifs including bands of leaves and berries, beading, and anthemion-style clusters of leaves in relief. The vase is in very good overall condition with age-appropriate crazing, a few surface scuffs / shallow scratches, and some darkening of the gilt metal, measuring 10.75 in. height. Impressed marks on the base: 389 / 3.
