An antique sterling silver and guilloche enamel pill or patch box of circular form with a hinged, fitted lid. The box would make a lovely decorative accessory for a desk, nightstand, or vanity.

The top of the box is decorated with a field of pink enamel over an engine turned pattern of wavy lines radiating outward from the center. The interior of the box and underside of the lid retain their original gilt finishes. The edge of the lid is marked STERLING 925 alongside an indecipherable oval maker's mark that appears to start with an M.

The Edwardian style box was likely made in Continental Europe during the first quarter of the 20th century and measures 1.75 in. diameter and is 0.5 in. H. Good overall condition with some shallow scratches (particularly on the base), a little tarnish, and a small impression on one side panel where a thumb would rest while opening the box.
