An antique two-light candle holder in copper/brass with Art Nouveau leaf, vine, and flower motifs and glass inserts. Designed to hold standard-sized taper candles, the candelabra has an original old and darkened patina. The central body is shaped like an obelisk with a simple flower decoration resembling an iris or trillium blossom engraved over a long and narrow beveled glass insert. The central obelisk shape is flanked by a corbel on either side containing an additional glass panels under engraved metal leaves on a vine. These elements rest on a plinth finished with a lightweight wooden base attached to four domed feet. Unmarked, but the design details indicated the candle holder was likely made in Europe. The design is tall and narrow, and was likely designed for use and display on a mantlepiece, shelf, or atop an upright piano, measuring 13 in. height x 8 in. W (at candle cups) x 2.38 in. D. Good condition with wear consistent with age and some corrosion inside the candle cups.
