An antique French faience trivet or plant stand from the Emaux de Longwy art pottery workshop in France. The decorative ceramic design rests on four feet and can be displayed on a tabletop or desk.

The bright and bold enameled glaze in a cloisonné-style Chinoiserie design features a colorful bird surrounded by foliage and flowers. The blue ground features Longwy's signature Chinese-style craquelure glaze. The sides are glazed in a contrasting cobalt blue with a textured border framing the central design.

The underside of the piece is marked with hand painted numbers "326" and an impressed circular Longwy mark used from 1870 onward. Good condition with a few scuffs on the surface and a couple of small nicks and glaze losses on the sides and edges, measuring 9.38 in. square x 1.25 in. H.
