A lovely late 19th / early 20th century French Art Nouveau vide poche (translates to empty pockets for keys, change, etc.) in gilt bronze designed by artist and sculptor Albert Marionnet (1852-1910).
Resting on four feet, the dish is encircled by detailed natural motifs including pine boughs, needles and cones. Fully marked with artist's A. Marionnet signature on the upper surface and France Déposé on the side. Very good condition with bright gilt surfaces showing some oxidation / tarnish (from bronze base metal body) measuring 1 in. H x 4.25 in. Dia.
