A fine antique flat back ivory porcelain pitcher by Royal Worcester of England, date marked for 1890. This exquisite late 19th century vessel is decorated with hand-painted Japanese floral motifs characteristic of Aesthetic Movement and Victorian era design with gilt accenting the handle, rim, foot, and body. 

The jug is an ideal size for a vase and is in very good, original condition, measuring 6.5 in. W x 7.5 in. H. Full printed factory marks on base, include the 4W mark surmounted by a crown over the letter "a" signifying 1890 production. Registration number RdNo29115 over form number 1094 with hand-painted letter B, V and the numbers D.3 and 2. The factory mark includes includes the number 51, referring to the founding of the Worcester Porcelain Company in 1751 by Dr. John Wall.
