Two fluted flower-form bowls, each on a flaring ring foot by American metalworker, designer and jeweler, Marie Zimmermann (1879-1972). These Arts and Crafts era vessels come directly from Zimmermann's estate, dating to the early 20th century while her workshop studio and showroom was at the National Arts Club at Gramercy Park in New York City.

The bowls of copper are of a substantial weight and feature hammered outer surfaces and natural brown patinas with contrasting darker spots scattered overall. Both in very good, original condition, measuring 7.25 in W (at upper rim) and 2.75 W (at foot), marked with M. ZIMMERMANN MAKER and MZ artist's cipher underfoot.

Provenance: The Estate of Marie Zimmermann.
