An early 20th century large and heavy antique pewter serving tray, dating circa 1900-1905. The silvery-gray surface is ornamented with naturalistic tulips, stems, and leaves forming two handles in the Art Nouveau style. The stamped Etain 95% mark on underside of one handle indicates the tray was made in Europe, likely in France. The artistic metal design works as a serving tray or platter but would make an equally strong and sculptural statement as wall decor. Good condition with spots of surface wear and darkened areas typical of antique pewter. The tray can be professionally polished, if desired. The tray measures 18.25 in. L x 15 in. W. x 1.5 in. H.
