An elegant, Art Deco period low bowl designed and produced in the 1920s by Charles Catteau's fantasy art pottery workshop (Atelier de fantaisie) at Boch Frères Keramis in La Louvière, Belgium. Hand-decorated with an unusual peacock-inspired palette of mottled blues ranging from aqua to cobalt with yellow highlights. Gilt bronze handles & rim. Printed factory mark with form number "616" & the initial "K" impressed on base. Mounts stamped "3520" on reverse. Very good condition with crazing on base and some wear to original gilding, measuring 9.12" W x 2.5" H.
