An Art Deco vase produced in the 1920s at Boch Freres Keramis, Charles Catteau's Atelier de Fantaisie art pottery workshop at La Louvière, Belgium. Boch Freres La Louviere produced a notable range of bold and colorful ceramics during the Art Deco period, influenced by Cubism, Japonisme, and the natural world.

This vessel has a brilliant outer glaze of azure/peacock blue with a fine network of deliberate craquelure lines contrasting with an ivory interior and base. This geometric vase is designed like a tulipiere (a tulip holder) with a larger central opening (2 in. dia.) surrounded by four smaller openings (1.25 in. dia.).

Fully marked on base with Keramis / Made in Belgium black factory wolf and wheel mark, impressed 1090. Very good condition with several small areas of roughness to the glaze (near the base) and a few spots of age-related discoloration visible in the interior and on the foot rim, measuring 6 in. H x 7 in W.
