Archibald Knox

Archibald Knox (1864-1933) was a Manx-born teacher and designer best known for his Cymric and Tudric art metal designs for Liberty & Company of London. Knox primarily worked in sterling silver and pewter, favoring Celtic motifs with embellishments of colored enamels. His artistic metal designs were produced at the pinnacle of the English Art Nouveau period by contemporary silversmiths and metalworkers including William Hair Haseler.
