A fine late 19th century ivory porcelain ewer by Royal Worcester of England, date marked for 1884. This exquisite antique pitcher is hand-decorated with delicate, hand-painted Japanese floral motifs characteristic of Aesthetic Movement ornament with gilt accenting the handle, rim, foot, and body. 

The ewer is the ideal size for a vase and is in very good, undamaged condition, measuring 9 in. H. Full printed factory marks on base, include the 4W mark surmounted by a crown over the letter V signifying 1884 production. Registration number RdNo17049 over form number 1047 with hand-painted initials EH and the number 3. The factory mark includes included the number 51 which refers to the founding of the Worcester Porcelain Company in 1751 by Dr. John Wall.
